Brief biography:
Witold Pedrycz (IEEE Fellow, 1998) is Professor and Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Computational Intelligence in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. He is also with the Systems Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland. In 2009 Dr. Pedrycz was elected a foreign member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 2012 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. Witold Pedrycz has been a member of numerous program committees of IEEE conferences in the area of fuzzy sets and neurocomputing. In 2007 he received a prestigious Norbert Wiener award from the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. He is a recipient of the IEEE Canada Computer Engineering Medal, a Cajastur Prize for Soft Computing from the European Centre for Soft Computing, a Killam Prize, and a Fuzzy Pioneer Award from the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society. His main research directions involve Computational Intelligence, fuzzy modeling and Granular Computing, knowledge discovery and data mining, fuzzy control, pattern recognition, knowledge-based neural networks, relational computing, and Software Engineering. He has published numerous papers in this area. He is also an author of 15 research monographs covering various aspects of Computational Intelligence, data mining, and Software Engineering. Dr. Pedrycz is intensively involved in editorial activities. He is an Editor-in-Chief of Information Sciences, Editor-in-Chief of WIREs Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery (Wiley), and Int. J. of Granular Computing (Springer). He currently serves on the Advisory Board of IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems and is a member of a number of editorial boards of other international journals.

Brief biography:
Nick Freris is Professor in the School of Computer Science at USTC, and Vice Dean of the International College. He received the Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, in 2005, and the M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, the M.S. degree in Mathematics, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering all from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in 2007, 2008, and 2010, respectively. His research lies in AIoT/CPS/IoT: machine learning, distributed optimization, data mining, wireless networks, control, and signal processing, with applications in power systems, sensor networks, transportation, cyber security, and robotics. Dr. Freris has published several papers in high-profile conferences and journals held by IEEE, ACM, and SIAM and holds three patents. His research has been sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, Anhui Dept. of Science and Technology, Tencent, and NSF, and was recognized with the National High-level Talent award, the USTC Alumni Foundation Innovation Scholar award, and the IBM High Value Patent award. Previously, he was with the faculty of NYU and, before that, he held senior researcher and postdoctoral researcher positions at EPFL and IBM Research, respectively. Dr. Freris is a Senior Member of ACM and IEEE, and a member of CCF and SIAM.

Brief biography:
Prof. Chi (Harold) Liu receives a Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from Imperial College, UK in 2010, and a B.Eng. degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from Tsinghua University, China in 2006.
He is currently a Full Professor, Vice Dean at the School of Computer Science and Technology, and Director of Beijing Key Lab of Intelligent Information Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, China. Before moving to academia, he worked for IBM Research - China as a staff researcher and project manager from 2010 to 2013, worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Deutsche Telekom Laboratories, Germany in 2010, and as a Research Staff Member at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, USA in 2009. His current research interests include the big data analytics, mobile computing, and machine learning. He received the IBM First Plateau Invention Achievement Award in 2012, ACM SigKDD'21 Best Paper Runner-up Award, ACM MobiCom'21 Best Community Paper Runner-up Award, and IEEE DataCom'16 Best Paper Award. He has published more than 100 prestigious conference and journal papers and owned 39 EU/UK/US/Germany/Spain/China patents. He serves as the Associate Editor for IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON NETWORK SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING, Area Editor for KSII Trans. on Internet and Information Systems, the Symposium Chair for IEEE ICC 2020 on Next Generation Networking, and served as the (Lead) Guest Editor for IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing and IEEE Sensors Journal. He was the book editor for 12 books published by Taylor & Francis Group, USA and China Machine Press, China. He also has served as the general chair of IEEE SECON'13 workshop on IoT Networking and Control, IEEE WCNC'12 workshop on IoT Enabling Technologies, and ACM UbiComp'11 Workshop on Networking and Object Memories for IoT. He was a consultant to Asian Development Bank, Bain & Company, and KPMG, USA, and the peer reviewer for Qatar National Research Foundation, National Science Foundation, China, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science and Technology, China. He is a senior member of IEEE and a Fellow of IET, British Computer Society, and Royal Society of Arts.

Dr Jixin Ma is a Full Professor of Computer Science in the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at University of Greenwich, U.K. He is the Director of the School’s PhD/MPhil Programme. Professor Ma is also a Visiting Professor of Beijing Normal University, Auhui University, Zhengzhou Light Industrial University, and Macau City University. Professor Ma obtained his BSc and MSc of Mathematics in 1982 and 1988, respectively, and PhD of Computer Sciences in 1994. His main research areas include Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering and Information Systems, with special interests in Temporal Logic, Temporal Databases, Machine Learning, Reasoning about Action and Change, Case-Based Reasoning, Pattern Recognition and Information Security. Professor has been a member British Computer Society, American Association of Artificial Intelligence, ICIS/IEEE, World Scientific and Engineering Society, and Special Group of Artificial Intelligence of BCS. He has also been the Editor of several international journals and international conference proceedings, and the Conference/Program Chair, and Invited Keynote Speaker of many international conferences. Professor Ma has published more than 150 research papers in international journals and conferences.

Wei Fang is a Professor of Computer Science at Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, and the founding Director of Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Meteorological Big Data (AIMB). His research interests include artificial intelligence, data science, meteorological big data Analysis and data mining. Dr. Wei Fang is a Senior member of China Computer Federation; Member of Chinese Society for Artificial Intelligence; Evaluation experts of theV Ministry of Science and Technology; Evaluation expert of the Ministry of Education; ACM member; Professional Consultant of China System Analyst Association (CSAI) Advisory Group; Member of Jiangsu Computer Society; Member of Jiangsu Artificial Intelligence Society. He also served as the workshop chairman of the previous International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Security (ICAIS), the TPC Member of the TURC_AIS 2019 and MLAI2022 International Conferences of the China Turing Conference. Prof. Fang is the guest editor of SCI journals such as Advances in Meteorology, Mathematics, Atmosphere, and IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Reviewer of many important academic journals such as Systems for Video Technology, Pattern Recognition, Information Fusion, Neurocomputing, CMC, IETE TECHNICAL REVIEW, etc.
